I don't know if I could be more in love with this wedding at Brooklyn Winery. Erin + Scott (and their dog, Gus, of course) charmed me the minute I met them. Super laid back, full of energy (Gus, that is), stylish and the sweetest. What more could I ask for. On their wedding day Gus joined us in the morning for a no-fuss first look at the swankiest AirBnb and then we set off for the church Erin's grandmother was married in for a photo op and walked the rest of the way to Brooklyn Winery for the ceremony and reception. The weather cooperated beautifully, they got tons of "congratulations!!" on the walk, and I couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces if I tried. Well done, guys and congratulations!Read More
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting a little more time with the lovely couple to really get to know them so that on the day of the wedding when things tend to go at warp speed everyone can still be comfortable and enjoy the moment. I also like ending them with a glass of wine and we did just that on this beautiful late Summer day.Read More
It's no secret that I love Brooklyn weddings and when I get to start my day in a historic brownstone and end it in Prospect Park my day is made. I'm sure Megan + Chris felt the same way getting to say their vows with that beautiful park behind them and family and friends gathered close by. Congratulations to this sweet couple!Read More
Rebecca + Francisco's wedding at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture was definitely one to remember. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, the details were divine, and these two had the biggest smiles on their faces whenever they looked at each other. Love was definitely in the air!Read More
I'm really excited about the new albums I'm offering so wanted to show one off. They are handmade flushmount albums (leather or fabric) and one of my favorite things is that I can use the font from your invitation for the cover. Tie it all together! This album is leather (color: fog) and comes from Erin + Scott's beautiful Brooklyn Winery wedding. Gorgeous, right?Read More
I don't think I'm the only person who has been wondering for quite some time when the old website and blog would be updated and (hark!) that day is today! WELCOME! I hope you enjoy exploring this space and I would love any feedback that you might have. Please, don't be shy especially if something isn't working properly!
This has been a big labor of love going through all my work from the past few years and getting to experience so many special days all over again. I feel truly, truly (can't say it enough) lucky to be able to do what I do. I've met such incredible people and am so happy that couples I've seen married are now having kids and still want me to document their growing families. That is THE ultimate, I tell you. You can also find a "family" gallery on the new site and I hope you love it as much as I do.
More updates will be on the way and I have so much to share. I hope this pretty new format inspires me to blog more than ever! <-- shouldn't be too hard to break my blogging 2x a year record.
