Anelise + Hugo had the most beautiful wedding at Brooklyn Winery this past year. They invited friends from nearby as well as Brazil, which included a beautiful English-Portugese ceremony and stunning DIY details. Anelise’s creative spirit showed in every aspect of the day and Hugo’s background in photography (yay!) was incorporated by getting ready at a photo studio in the neighborhood. Such an honor to be a part of this beautiful day with these two who poured so much of themselves into the planning to make it just perfect for their family and friends. Parabéns, A+H!Read more
Jess + Justin, the loveliest of people, were married in Brooklyn at the Green Building this past spring. I don’t think I have ever seen Jess without her megawatt smile and the whole day was filled to the brim with love and big smiles! From the gorgeous first look at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge to the happy tears filled ceremony and lit dance party the day was 100%.Read more
Alec + Clarke’s industrial chic wedding at Roberta’s was another one of those weddings I left thinking… “If I did it again…” which, honestly, happens a lot even though I loved my wedding (coming up on TEN years ago!) because once again, the theme of this year was PIZZA and combine that with beautiful NYC skyline views, that fancy Williamsburg Hotel suite, beer brought in from Texas, a crew of fun friends and every last little detail just nailing it. I loved it. I love them.Read more
Carolyn + Christof had a truly Brooklyn day full of special touches by their friends. Starting the day at Magic Cobra Tattoo Society and heading into their church-turned-lofts apartment for a sweet first look. Carolyn walked down the aisle in a gorgeous gown made by her friend, Selina Elkuch, and the whole room was 100% present as the rings were passed around the room to be blessed and everyone joined hands to celebrate the couple. It was such a sweet ceremony and they really made it their own. After that, poetry on demand while guests mingled with their cocktails and kombucha (on tap!) listening to the sweet sounds of Baby Soda jazz band. To top it all off the couple ending the night by riding off into the night on Christof’s vintage motorcycle. Such a treat to experience and a huge congrats to these two!Read more
I have mixed feelings on winter this year. This cold. I used to be a big fan and still love winter sports and activities, but with two little boys that are spending the majority of the winter indoors I cannot wait for some warm weather and less layers. That being said, I had a more than enjoyable day getting out into the cold with Ellie + Cooper for their engagement shoot. Do they even look cold? We started in their home (always a great place for engagement shoots!) and walked through Prospect Park and ended at a cozy bar. Such troopers and they are the absolute loveliest to photograph. I can't wait for their wedding this year!Read more
I couldn't help but share this little sneak peek of Max and Caroline's sweet rainy day wedding in Brooklyn at 501 Union. Such a fun wedding party and couple! Congratulations!!
