I don't normally get all excited about the new year, but I have to admit that this year - 2018 - I am feeling it. Maybe it's because 2017 was full of so much political unrest and uncertainty or maybe I'm just ready for an even numbered year. I honestly can't tell because as much as people gripe about 2017 I did shoot some of my favorite weddings and welcomed that sweet little Sheppard boy into the world. I spent the year working a ton, watching my toddler Forrest grow and learn, traveling a crazy amount for being pregnant (oops), and held down the fort while my husband was away on tour. It was a B I G year in our household and for my business.

Shall we take a look back on what made it wonderful so we can welcome 2018 with a clean slate?
